I love watching big wave surfing and was wondering how I could get my self out there without gettin my ass whooped, and hopefully see you and other big wave surfers out in the line up. So my question is, what's the best way to transition from head high surf and smaller to big wave surfing like you? How do you keep your composure with those big beasts chassing you?

How do you train to improve your ability to hold your breath on big wipes? Is the biggest key to just stay calm and go limp or are you in full on fetal position?
