Operation ‘Night Rider’ Wins Cinematography Award

Operation ‘Night Rider’ has recently won an ‘Australian Cinematography Award’ in the category of ‘Documentaries, Cinema & TV’ 2011.

Cameraman Drew Llewellyn captured the moment from a helicopter that had to back away from the advancing wave as he did so.

The footage won Llewellyn a bronze award (1 x gold and 2 x bronze awards were issued) for his brave efforts that night.
